
Case Study: Champion Teamwear
Champion Teamwear is Champion global’s team sportswear division and I managed social media and content creation for the Australian New Zealand audience.
My social media strategy revolved around creating aspirational and inspirational content where upcoming and aspiring athletes could be motivated about teamwork and training, get advice for kitting out their team, see examples of teams wearing Champion branded kits performing in their sport and encourage sport enthusiasm around a variety of team sports. Over the year of 2024, this content generated 300K reach across Instagram with 250 link clicks to the website per month.
I also implemented product seeding and influencer marketing to complement the social media marketing, briefing creators, liaising with suppliers and the client and ensuring quality of collaborations.
In 2024, Champion global underwent a brand refresh. I recommended a content shoot to better match the vibe of the brand refresh and elevate the look and feel of social content. I organised and produced a photography shoot for socials and the broader marketing promotions within a 1-day timeline and strict budget. I collaborated with a photographer, videographer and 3 models to cover content for 5 sports in 5 locations with 2 outfits in each. This content was then used in social content moving forward.
