Day By Day Brand Identity

Brand designed for Day By Day, an insurance platform using cryptocurrency and NFTs developed in Melbourne.

Day By Day is a start up platform with several offerings and digital spaces. To improve the user journey and be part of building a trustworthy platform, it was imperative that there was consistency in the brand, visuals and verbal identity. This is particularly important as the product lives in the the FinTech and insurance technology space where user data and financial transactions are invovled in the user’s journey.

I created a set of colours, fonts, graphic styles and UI that spoke to the excitement, emerging tech and innovation of the platform, that also matched with the brand story of Changing Times and protecting yourself day by day. It also needed to be familiar to users of cryptocurrency platforms and so required a lot of research and brand positioning.

Finally, the simplicity of the design was important for user onboarding and uptake so I chose to user rounded corners and gradients to keep the platforms friendly.

Brand voice, personality and positioning was developed for the verbal identity as well and consolidated into a brand guidelines document for company-wide reference.
